Continuing on from recreating my 70’s calculator in Rhino, I have developed several form studies in Rhino and then taken 4 further, creating the keys, split lines, cases, etc. This was a personal exercise so I could explore some other aspects of surfacing/sculpting in Rhino. Most of the forms use G2 and higher continuity where applicable, where I manipulated the surface CVs manually. Why a calculator? It has several of the features and details that I wanted to focus my design and modelling on; keys, displays, rectilinear form. There are enough phone models and renders around so a calculator was perfect. To see more please visit Behance
