This video covers my exploration of creating a curved mesh. Instead of creating a flat mesh and then deforming that, I created a tool to control the wires, then deformed the tool, then finally swept the wires. This way the section of the wire remains circular. The final result is not as smooth as I’d like – this can probably be improved by controlling the deform tool with more curves, however I have noticed adding more curves can result in a poorer result. Anyway, this is more than adequate for renderings etc…
