This is my first try at using the G3 constraint in Solidworks. The first half of the video went as I expected, looking at constraining a style spline and the relevant degree a spline needs to be to have independent continuity controls on each end of the spline. The second half of the video did not go to plan, as I could not get the G3 constraint to play nicely with the geometry I wanted to constrain to… I have had issues like this in the past with the CC constraint. Frustrating. Also discovered that the G3 constraint is NOT available in 3D sketches. Fingers crossed that changes. I’ll put together a pre built model at some point, where I have the G3 sketches behaving!
